Ana-Maria Villegas Alvarez

I am of Colombian origin and a native Spanish speaker. I have a first class honours degree in Law and was awarded the Jubilee scholarship to study a Masters in International Commercial Law.

I joined YVA Solicitors LLP in 2015 and qualified in 2018 as a solicitor in the residential property department. I deal with all aspects of conveyancing including sale and purchase transactions, transfers of equity, refinancing, equity releases and right to buys.

Aside from my career in law, a great passion of mine has always been dance and performance. At the age of 16 I started training professionally in salsa dancing which is particularly close to my heart as it links back to my latin roots. Outside of the office, I am proud to run my own dance and fitness classes where I teach a selection of classes including Insanity and Zumba Fitness.
