Expertise

For the past four years, I have been assisting Nick Kephalas and his team with YVA’s commercial and residential transactions providing general administration and secretarial support. I deal with the day-to-day handling of our cases including telephone assistance, drafting legal correspondence, forms, contracts and legal searches.

As part of the Post Completion team, I deal with the registration of residential and commercial property transactions and the preparation and submission of Stamp Duty Applications.

Experience

I have 18 years’ experience in the legal industry. I began my career as a paralegal and legal clerk for Farhi Jacob Solicitors in Crouch End, where I trained in Family Law and Children Act cases. I developed my PA / secretarial skills working for the senior partner who also trained me in family law mediation. I have also worked for CKFT Solicitors and Howard Kennedy.

On the weekend I… spend quality time socialising with my family and friends, I love cooking and recipe developing. If I’m not in the kitchen you will find me in the gym.

On my first day at YVA… well I almost didn’t turn up; I was so nervous after taking almost three years out raising my two boys. I have absolutely no recollection of that day. However, everyone was warm and welcoming. I remember going home thinking “I like it there; I hope I did okay!
