I specialise in Property Law, dealing with all aspects of residential conveyancing transactions including the sale and purchase of freehold/leasehold property, right-to-buy acquisitions, the grant of new leases and lease extensions. I am also heavily involved in refinances involving both residential and commercial property, often acting for borrowers in relation to bridging finance and large-scale refinances of property portfolios, with the more traditional lenders.
· Acting for a developer in relation to their finance for the development of a small collection of luxury new-build property in the North London area, and the subsequent sale of the units, each selling for more than £2,000,000
· Acting for a client in the sale of their family home and subsequent purchase, with both properties being worth in excess of £3,000,000
· Advised on the refinance of a parade of commercial units with residential upper floors with a private bank in the sum of £3,000,000
· Acting for the borrower in the refinance of their property portfolio with a gross loan amount of £28,000,000
On the weekend I… am most likely going to be found at my local gym or either watching and playing football.
On my first day at YVA… I was shown all of the systems which are in place insofar as client management and case management is concerned, as well as given a small pile of files which I would be assisting under the supervision of the partners of the same. Having completed my professional training at the firm, YVA and the solicitors allowed me to build my confidence and to become accustomed to a high case-load, all the while maintaining the level of personal service and client communication required in a role such as mine.
