Doloros Agathangelou

I am a trainee solicitor within the property department at YVA Solicitors, having joined in 2021. I work with Nick Kephalas, Paul Yiannakas and Andrew Petrou on both residential and commercial transactions.

Experience:

· Assisted on various refinancing deals, with many different banks;

· Supported clients on purchasing freehold and leasehold properties;

· Supported clients on refinancing their properties, while acting for the client and the bank;

· Experience in running various files for notices of transfer;

· Assisted in lease extensions.

By assisting my supervisors in various transactions, I have been able to develop my understanding of Property Law and this has enabled me to run my own transactions with the guidance of my supervisors.

On the weekend I… am a sports enthusiast and enjoy playing various different sports, including football and golf. When time allows, I also enjoy watching my beloved football team, Manchester United and occasionally take trips to Manchester to support my team. Other than sports, I enjoy cooking, in particular Greek dishes on the BBQ.

On my first day at YVA Solicitors, I… received a warm welcome from all of my fellow colleagues. Having done work experience at YVA on three different occasions, I knew that working here would be more than just a workplace, it is like being a part of a family. My supervisors Nick and Paul have been great teachers and mentors and I aspire to grow into the firm just as they and my other colleagues have done.
