Constantine Alexandrou

I practice in all areas of non-contentious property law including residential and commercial conveyancing, leasehold enfranchisement and secured lending. I can therefore deal with buying or selling residential/commercial property, granting of leases, obtaining mortgage or bridging finance (including acting for lenders) and dealing with the grant of lease extensions and licences in landlord and tenant matters. Due to my knowledge of all these areas, I am able to provide a broad and comprehensive level of advice and expertise to my clients in any property transaction with which they need assistance.

Experience

I graduated from University of Sussex with an LLB Law Degree and then completed the Legal Practice Course at BPP Law School. I completed my training contract in 2018 at a North London firm before moving to YVA Solicitors in March 2021.

On top of residential transactions, I have become specialised in commercial transactions, both in conveyancing and lending. I started my time at this firm working with Nick Kephalas on complex commercial property transactions and I am recognised for my keen-eye to detail, organisation and exemplary service. Such transactions include multimillion pound property portfolios which involve 100 plus units.

On the weekend I… volunteer in supporting the local Cypriot community and have been recognised by the Government of Cyprus for my contribution to this endeavour.

On my first day at YVA… I was instructed on a residential purchase that had to exchange within 24 hours. With the guidance of my supervisor and assistance of the support staff, we managed to reach our client’s timescale and they were left completely satisfied with the service.
