I advise on all areas relating to Wills, Trusts, Probates and Family work. I am a Trusts and Estates Practitioner (TEP) and a full member of the Society of Trusts and Estates Practitioners (STEP). I am also a member of the Law Society Family Law Panel and Resolution First for Family Law.

 

Experience

Having undertaken my training contract with the predecessors of the firm, YVA Solicitors and qualifying in 1987, I am now the longest serving member of YVA.

I have considerable experience in all areas of Family Law including divorce, the financial aspects of the breakdown of relationships and Private Law Children Act proceedings. I also represented the father of the Baby P case.

I have considerable experience in drafting Wills appropriate to the needs of the client, securing Probates and creating and administering Trusts. I take pride in being proactive and providing clients with sound practical legal advice

 

On the weekend I… enjoy being with extended family, including my children and grandchildren, entertaining friends and relatives (with a BBQ in the summer months), gardening, playing squash and supporting the best team in London, Arsenal.

 

On my first day at YVA… My first day was such a long time ago! Despite being in the profession for more than 35 years, I still love going to work each morning and meeting the YVA team – not only in helping clients but continuing the friendship and support within the office.
