I am a specialist Leasehold Enfranchisement Solicitor at YVA Solicitors. I have extensive experience within the sector and I’ve acted for both leaseholders and freeholders during the statutory lease extension and enfranchisement process. I am experienced in the Right of First Refusal process and Right to Manage processes.

Alongside being well versed in these areas of law, I provide clients with a commercially sound strategy to move either their lease extension or enfranchisement forward. I develop good working relationships with both my long-standing clients and fellow property professionals.

Experience

I have successfully acted in matters whereby I have had absentee landlords or properties which have been disclaimed. I have acted on complex enfranchisement matters involving appurtenant parts for both Freeholder and Leaseholder clients and also acted for large enfranchisements of multiple buildings within the same Freehold which have required separate statutory notices and careful drafting to proceed.

I have presented to leaseholders at conferences and exhibitions advising on the statutory leasehold process, written articles whereby I created a 12-step guide to extending the lease which has been featured on Flat Living and the Leasehold Advisory Service, and provided training courses for fellow property professionals for News on the Block.

On the Weekend I… am an adrenaline junkie and spend time on rollercoasters my two sons or cooking (and eating) fusion foods (not at once though!).
